The Abyss of
Culture
The things
that characterize my world,
Folded in
the biases of society,
Culture and
pride are the anxiety,
They are the
problem,
We care more
about our race,
The color of
our face,
More than
our religion and education,
The world
moves in its own station,
Gearing us
toward the abyss,
We teach our
children to segregate,
To placate
their indoctrinated hatred,
Our race has
become our religion,
Fueling the words
of King’s dead vision,
Today we
stand in the abyss,
The midst of
a decision,
Will we
continue to glory in our culture,
Or glory in
our freedom?
